Description
In this workshop you’ll get to learn the full process of the cyanotype artform, from safely preparing materials to exploring different exposure techniques.
This will involve learning about cyanotype developing solution and how to prepare cyanotype paper. You’ll then move on to experiment with different exposure techniques, making several cyanotypes using a wide range of materials to create shadow patterns.
You will be able to explore our beautiful therapeutic garden, collecting flowers, seed heads and leaves to experiment with for your designs.
Protective gloves will be provided, but we suggest you bring an apron to protect your clothes just in case.
Participants will take home their prints from the day, as well as their own small-scale DIY cyanotype kit so you can carry on experimenting & creating at home!
**Please Note**
Hot & cold drinks, biscuits, cake and fruit will all be provided, but we ask that all participants bring their own lunch.
When purchasing your ticket, please ensure you complete the form to make us aware of any health conditions or allergies as well as any additional support that you may need during your day with us.
